The Bathroom Experience – Water for People

From 10 to 14 March 2009 everything at ISH, the world’s leading trade fair for the bathroom experience, building services, energy, air-conditioning technology and renewable energies, revolves around two resources which are essential for life: energy and water. ISH brings together two trade fairs under one roof: 'The Bathroom Experience' and 'Energy, Building Services and Air-conditioning Technology'. Some 2,400 companies will be represented at this combined trade fair in an Exhibition Centre, which is now all but booked out (a gross floor area of 250,000 square metres) – including all market leaders and technology pioneers. 2009 is ISH's anniversary year. This leading world fair has been around for 50 years – 5 decades that stand for growth, continuity and a successful trade-fair concept. In short for a success story lasting half a century.

At 'The Bathroom Experience', with its slogan 'Water for People', more than 700 exhibitors will be showcasing the world début of their new products for sustainable and design-oriented bathrooms in Halls 1, 3 and 4 as well as in the Forum and the Festhalle. The world's largest showroom will be displaying the very best in design developments as well as modern technology adapted to today's needs. 'Water for People' – for the bathroom is all about quality of life, a sense of well-being, wellness; and thus it directly contributes to people's health. Water is, at the same time, the most important basis for life, a limited resource worldwide, which demands sustainable solutions. Thus the sanitary industry will be presenting ways in which water consumption can be reduced with the latest technology, how waste water can be turned into drinking water and how easy-care materials reduce the use of detergents.

The link between 'Energy, Building Services and Air-conditioning Technology' and 'The Bathroom Experience' is provided by the 'World of Installation Technology' in Halls 4, 6.0 and 6.1 with around 350 exhibitors.
